An exceedingly slow growing palmate, single trunked palm distinguished by its globular leaf crown and its heavily wrinkled, twisted  leaf segments. A unique and exceptionally nice addition to the tropical or subtropical garden…It likes full sun but will survive in light shade, in habitat they can grow to 40 feet but in cultivation substantially less though if given many, many tens of years , it may perhaps  attain the same height.
