A solitary trunked, rare, dainty, unusual looking, little understory palm with a more or less open  leaf crown  made up of a handful of arching, divided, feathery leaves with its emergent leaves a rosy pink . Its requirements include filtered light and a rich, moist well drained soil. A very pretty addition to the garden
