We have a few problems with taxonomy here… our plants come from local seed where the seed palms have been subjected to outside winter cold completely unprotected that has frequently been in the low 30’s (F) to the occasional high twenties. This is a clumping palm with a mature height of approximately 20 feet. Emergent leaves are a pretty pink and can be used as a very effective and attractive shady location hedge.
